A week later we got a call from the vet hospital saying that five of the pups died, and they called the names of them I began crying because it was my favorite pups that had died, my mom said that it was okay and I quickly got up and my mom and I went straight to the hospital. the veterinarian said that they died because the injections were too strong for them them and it killed them instantly. He showed us the bodies and asked if we wanted to take them or if he should bury them i quickly took hem and went to the car where I waited for my mom. When we arrived at our house i quickly got out of the car and ran to the porch where I took of their collars and watched their name tags it was fatso he got his name because he was the fattest puppy I ever saw, dumbo he had extremely large ears, tiger well he wasn't scared of anything, cuddles she was extremely fluffy and midnight because he was dark like the middle of the night. I quickly rest their bodies down and watched their small little heads.
I then saw my mom digging a hole in the backyard and she gave me five shoe boxes inside the boxes contained thick white silk with four small roses. It was hard for me to say goodbye but I had to. We gently rest the boxes into the hole and covered it up, but before we began praying three of the others ran in took their noses opened the box got in and lied next to their brothers and sister I began to cry at the beautiful sight but we had to take them out and close the hole. Every now and then I keep forgetting that five of my pups died and I taught that they were lost until i saw the hole and remembered that they were gone.
In conclusion the puppies were neatly tucked and buried in
their boxes, but their brothers and sisters visit them every day sometimes they
would bring food and rest it on top of their graves for them. It was tragic but
it happened everyone in my family misses them but we still thank god that we
have the other twenty three still alive. Soon we had to give away a couple of
them (14) but every day we visit them at their new homes.
